In adherence to the provisions outlined in Section VI of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9845, Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology inaugurated its Public Assistance/Complaint Desk in a ceremony held at 9:00 am on March 4, 2024, in front of the HRM Office, Administrative Building. The establishment of this desk underscores the institution's commitment to providing accessible and responsive services to the public.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by key figures within the College, including the esteemed College President, Dr. Alex H. Navarroza, Vice Presidents, school officials, and both teaching and non-teaching personnel. The event marked a significant step towards enhancing transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the College's operations.

The newly established Public Assistance/Complaint Desk aims to serve as a frontline service hub, catering to inquiries, concerns, and complaints from the public pertaining to the College's regular transactions. This initiative aligns with the core principles of RA 9845, which emphasizes the importance of addressing the needs and grievances of the public promptly and efficiently.

The Public Assistance/Complaint Desk is a tangible manifestation of BISCAST's commitment to transparency, accountability, and public service. It ensures that our stakeholders, whether students, parents, or the community at large, have a platform to voice their concerns and seek resolution promptly.

The desk will be staffed by BISCAST personnel who will handle inquiries, provide information, and facilitate the resolution of complaints. By establishing a designated space for public assistance and complaints, BISCAST aims to streamline the process, making it more accessible and efficient for all parties involved.

The launch of the Public Assistance/Complaint Desk signifies BISCAST's dedication to fostering a culture of openness, responsiveness, and continuous improvement. It is anticipated that this initiative will contribute to a more harmonious and collaborative relationship between the College and its stakeholders, creating a positive impact on the overall educational experience.
